It has been a while since I last posted, so here’s a review of a German restaurant that I am quite a fan of!
The rosti (S$5++) comes in a big portion that is totally worth your money! Crispy and yummy, the potatoes in the rosti is served slightly moist as well, and is not too dry. Sadly, the fried onions that came with it were soggy and not crispy as I would have liked.
The nürnberger (grilled pork) sausages (S$18++) are your standard German sausages, what more can I say. The meat is juicy and bursting with flavour, made even better when dipped lightly into the sauces provided.
The Grevensteiner Lager (0.5L, S$17++) is not exactly cheap, but it was only being served for a limited time, which was why I decided to give it a try. I quite liked the beer, as it had a slightly sweet aftertaste, and did not feel very strong. I’m not much of a drinker though, so you can take whatever I said above with a pinch of salt. :p
Brotzeit has a couple of outlets in Singapore, and we have gone to the outlets at Vivo City & 313 Somerset a few times, but not the others, at least not yet. The quality of the food has been consistent, and we have enjoyed the food at both outlets (Vivo/313).
